After you create an account, set a password. If the plugin is already installed, skip the zip. Copy Hub URL, Site ID, and Site key next. We never email the Site key.

1. If Bedrock Shield is not installed yet, download the WordPress plugin zip. In WordPress: Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin. Activate it.
2. On the dashboard, copy Hub URL (this Hub, paste as-is), Site ID, and Site key from the Connect your site card. Site key stays masked until you click Show.
3. In WP-Admin open Bedrock Shield, then Connect. Paste those three values into the matching fields.
4. Come back to the dashboard. When the site checks in, the card collapses to Connected. The Hub uses your WordPress site title (or the Site label you set in plugin Settings). The Site ID stays under details.

If WordPress is in a folder (example.com/blog or a /wordpress path), that is fine. The Hub URL is the Hub, not your site folder. Paste the Hub URL as-is.

If you lose a key, click Show on the Connect your site card, or Generate a new key. The old key stops working if you generate a new one.

You never change DNS or nameservers. Bedrock is a WordPress plugin plus this Hub.
